To bring the Good News to all nations

To bring the Good News to all nations and make reproducing disciples of Jesus Christ for the glory of God.

Our mission comes from the Head of the church Himself – our Lord Jesus Christ – as given in Matthew 28:19-20, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Our vision is to see a people transformed through deep fellowship with God and with each other. We believe this can be achieved by doing it the way Jesus did it - walking with one another in discipleship (especially 1-to-1 or small group discipleship).

Sunday

Gatherings

Our Sunday fellowship offers a time where we can gather together to worship the Lord and listen to His word. But during the week, there are many more gatherings happening in life/home groups and discipleship groups (D-groups). The small groups are where the majority of fellowship time is spent.

IBC Essen was started by a core team coming out of the International Baptist Church Düsseldorf. It is also a Church Plant project of the BEFG.

Plan a Visit

Our contemporary worship service is held every Sunday at 10:00 AM. After service there is fellowship time with some coffee and cookies to get to connect better.
